The Secret first appeared in 2006 and was released as a self help guide to life, wealth and happiness. It rapidly became a worldwide success with its blend of mysterious secrets of the ancients revealed and sage advice by some of the greatest life coaches and self help Gurus the world has known.
The Secret’s formula is based around the law of attraction - this basically explains that what you release into the universe (be it physical, emotional or spiritual) will be attracted back to you like a magnet. As a result those that project negative emotions or worried thoughts for example will attract negative forces back into their lives. By assuming a positive state of being and rleasing energy in which you believe you are successful, loved and healthy will therefore bring those elements into your life. It could almost be described as a self fulfilling prophecy. Believe bad things will happen and they will! The Secret also indicates that this system of being has been known for centuries by a chosen few and relayed on as teachings, but now it is being exposed as the key to achieving what you want to happen in your life.
